Wycoller ruins

I went over to the Wycoller area of eastern Lancashire yesterday and took a few pictures while I was over that way. Mainly of the subject of this article, the Wycoller ruins.

There is a country park there but there doesn't seem a great deal to it. You're to walk three and a half miles from the car park to the village of Wycoller itself - which, whilst rather pretty, hasn't got an awful lot to offer.

Anyway, on with the pictures.

Here's a bit of scenery from the village:

The historic bridge:

And here's part of the village. There's a few houses, a shop and possibly a pub. Really not a lot there. Nice Ferrari though - one or two people were taking a quick nosey at it while I was there.

And that's your lot. Until next time, of course.

Some great photos of Wycoller, I was looking for somewhere to go this weekend and I think your photos have made my mind up.

Have a look at my blog and if you think it's relevant put a link up and I'll do the same.
